I’ll tell you my story. I’m Alfonso, a nurse who works in Palermo and has a great passion for travel. I have always enjoyed discovering the world and meeting new people and cultures. So, one day, I decided to embark on the experience of being a host.
First of all, I needed a property to start this new adventure from. After a long search on the internet – looking for apartments for sale in the centre of Palermo – one caught my attention very strongly. It was an apartment located at Via Ammiraglio Gravina 50, right in the center behind the beautiful Piazza Castelnuovo, in a quiet but also service-rich area. As soon as I visited it, I had no doubts at all: it was the apartment I was looking for! So, with great determination, I managed to buy it. Of course, the apartment needed to be renovated and modernized.
One feature struck me from the very first moment: all the rooms had vaulted ceilings, so I immediately came up with the idea that this feature should be somehow highlighted. So I decided to give the apartment a new modern look by painting each vaulted ceiling with a different color for each room and leaving the walls white. The result was better than expected: a fresh yet alternative style. At that point, it almost seemed natural to me to use this feature to name the property. And that’s how the name “MolteVolte” was born – it’s a pun based on the words “Molte” (which means “many”) and “Volte” (which means both “vaults” and “times”).
